Dolphins Set For Thursday...

The Dolphins will return to Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe this Thursday night for a Round 5 NRL clash against the Manly Sea Eagles, with both teams looking to build momentum early in the 2026 season.

The prime-time match will be played at Kayo Stadium, giving Dolphins fans a chance to see the team back on home turf following their recent loss to the Brisbane Broncos. The Thursday night fixture is expected to draw a strong local crowd, with the Dolphins aiming to secure another home win in front of their supporters.

The last time the two sides met, the Sea Eagles recorded a high-scoring 58–30 win in Sydney. Despite the result, the Dolphins showed attacking potential early in that match and will be looking to turn the tables this time around, particularly with the advantage of playing at home in Redcliffe.

Dolphins Team List

The Dolphins have named a strong lineup for the Thursday night clash. Key players set to take the field include Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow at fullback, Jamayne Isaako and Selwyn Cobbo on the wings, and Herbie Farnworth and Jake Averillo in the centres. Kodi Nikorima and Isaiya Katoa will lead the team in the halves.

In the forward pack, Tom Gilbert, Felise Kaufusi, Max Plath and Morgan Knowles will play key roles, with Thomas Flegler, Ray Stone and Francis Molo providing impact from the bench. Kurt Donoghoe has been named among the extended reserves as he pushes for a return from injury.

Sea Eagles Team List

Manly will be led by star fullback Tom Trbojevic, with Clayton Faulalo, Tolu Koula, Reuben Garrick and Lehi Hopoate named in the backline. Luke Brooks and Jamal Fogarty will combine in the halves.

The Sea Eagles forward pack includes Taniela Paseka, Jake Trbojevic and Haumole Olakau’atu, giving the side plenty of size and experience heading into the match.

The Sea Eagles have also made changes to their lineup, including the inclusion of Clayton Faulalo, while Jason Saab will miss the match due to suspension.

Big Game for Both Clubs

Both teams enter the match looking to strengthen their position early in the season. The Dolphins will be aiming to respond after their Round 4 loss, while Manly are looking to find consistency after a mixed start to the year.

With the match being played in Redcliffe under Thursday night lights, the game is expected to bring a strong atmosphere to Kayo Stadium and provide another big night of NRL action for fans in the Moreton Bay region.

Kick-off is scheduled for Thursday night at Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe.
